What is Photography According To Man? #FreePhotos
It is hard to see why new Photography technologies are regarded as "technology for crazy" by professional photographers such as photojournalists. It is just a wonder how they don't learn how to appreciate the quantity of money and time spent on these new discoveries, not to point out the brilliant minds that whirred night and day just to be able to offer these impressive inventions of comfort and relieve to the standard photography fan.
The average modern shutter-bug will be justified to advance the debate that regardless of if photographers of the old school claim that the old way of doing it is more artistic and produce more fantastic pieces of photographs, modern-technology photography can equal if not beat what the Old Skool cameraman is able to do with the use of graphics software such as Photoshop. Everything and anything is now possible with digital photography and processing. The Old school snapper even uses some of the leading edge technology processes to come up with better results. So what is the point in maintaining a "false" status quo in old school photography?
The creative photography enthusiast sometimes don't even warm to being "labelled" paparazzo. They feel and insist they aren't just photographers. They look at themselves above the lowly title but are artists in their own right using photography as an artistic medium. So what does the modern shutter-bug have to say about that? He's uncommitted and just shrugs his shoulders. He could not even understand what most of the things the inventive photography fan is asserting.
There isn't any tangible war between the 2 camps neither is there even just a little hint of a cold war. But the variations in opinion are there that often baffle the major newbie who, to his belief, still has to choose between the two differing cliques. It is much later the beginner unearths he doesn't need to choose between the 2. He will be able to even start a 3rd college that is a cross between the 2 schools. It may even be instrumental in pacifying the "war" as "members" of both can join as "come-and-go members" of his safe middle-ground "school" of photography.
The "war" between the new and old Photography technologies is a clear indicator that man has a really fertile imagination. He creates wars where there should not be in the same manner that he wants peace where there is no war. Fickle-minded, won't you are saying?
